A topic that many parents are familiar with: No sooner is the baby covered up in its crib than the blanket is already tugged down again. In the worst case scenario, the blanket slides up and lands on the baby's head. This can't happen with the ALVI Mäxchen®: In this pear-shaped baby sleeping bag, the offspring is pleasantly warm, has sufficient freedom of movement and still feels very secure.

With a 100% recommendation in 2019 in the midwives' test by hebammen-testen.de, the ALVI Mäxchen® was able to convince 50 midwives all around. It received the grade "VERY GOOD" in all tested areas. In April 2020, the Mäxchen was voted test winner in the Germany test for highest customer satisfaction in the sleeping bag sector.

A clever system for every season

The ALVI Mäxchen® consists of three sleeping bags and thus forms a practical system that can be adjusted depending on the room temperature. The outer sack in a cute striped pattern with embroidery is lightly padded and in a double size that grows with the child. The two inner sacks in two consecutive sizes are equipped with long sleeves and cuddly cuffs for an excellent fit. If the nights are warmer in summer, only the inner sack can be used.

Both the outer sack and the inner sacks are equipped with all-round zippers. So you can quickly get to your baby if the diaper needs to be changed.

These sleeping bag combinations are suitable for different temperatures:

• below 21°C: inner bag + outer bag
• 21 - 25°C: only outer bag (ideal for the transition)
• above 25°C: inner bag only

Highest quality & comfortable material

The comfortable cotton material has a very long life. The functions of the individual fabrics also remain intact for a long time and offer ideal heat regulation for your little one. The soft, cuddly quality is particularly gentle and protects the delicate baby skin. Additional darts under the arm on the outer bag provide more stability and durability.

The safety closure of the outer bag is equipped with a stopper. So your little one can not trample free during sleep. The little ones have also been thought of: a cable outlet opening for monitored babies in the hospital is also available. The ALVI Mäxchen® is rounded off with an Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certificate. This means that you can be sure that all materials have been tested for harmful substances and that you can use the Mäxchen without any worries.

Which size is the right one?

This sleeping bag system always covers a double size. The neck and arm openings of the outer bag can be individually adjusted to the size of your child with the button strip. The inner bags are supplied in 2 different sizes, here you get a small and a larger inner bag.

To determine the right size of sleeping bag for your baby, the following rule of thumb applies: body length - head length + 10 cm = ideal size.

If your baby is between 2 sizes, then the rule is always: grow out, not grow in. In this case, it is better to choose the smaller size, otherwise the neckline could be too large.
