The Original supports the tuck and straddle position, which is often recommended by experts. With the ergonomic carrier you can carry your child from a weight of 5.5 kg on the stomach, the back, as well as laterally on the hip. Ergobaby uses pure, breathable cotton for the material. The Original is equipped with the lordosis support, which supports your back even better during longer wearing time. The set also includes the Easy Snug newborn insert, which provides optimal support for the very youngest in the carrier from birth.

Comfort for your child

In the ergonomically shaped seat, your baby automatically assumes the natural squat-splay position. The spine is slightly rounded, the legs squatted. You can adjust the width of the seat to the size of your child. If your baby wants to take a nap, the hood made of soft, woven cotton fabric comes into play. It is equipped with UV protection 50+ and provides pleasant shade. It is also a good privacy shield when breastfeeding.

Comfort for parents

The wide waist belt, in combination with the padded shoulder straps, provides extra comfort for moms and dads. The waist belt is adjustable from 66 to 140 cm and the shoulder straps from 61 to 112 cm. So you can adjust the straps individually and the weight of your baby is evenly distributed over the body. The lordosis support strengthens the spine.
