The Joie i-Bold R129 i-Size child car seat in Thunder brings your child to their destination with maximum safety after the infant car seat up to the age of 12. The i-Bold is the only child car seat that you need after the infant car seat, i.e. from around 15 months until your child is 12 years old. Together with the 5-point harness system, you can always adjust the headrest in 11 positions to suit your child's size - without having to reinstall the seat and rethread the harness. You can easily install the i-Bold with Isofix and Top-Tether until your child is around 4 years old. Until then, you fasten it with the integrated 5-point harness. As soon as your child is 100 cm tall, buckle them in with the car seat belt and stow the 5-point harness in the integrated storage compartment. The seat insert can be removed later.

Optimum protection for head and neck thanks to the Guard Surround Safety™ side impact protection element that can be attached on both sides. This absorbs the energy in the event of a crash. With the GrowTogether™ function, you can not only adjust the height of the headrest, but also the harness system with just one movement. With 3 comfortable sitting and resting positions, relaxation is guaranteed. The integrated ventilation system ensures a pleasant climate. The steel-reinforced seat shell gives the seat even more stability and reliably protects your child in the event of an accident.

The 5-point harness system with SoftTouch™ padding can be tightened with just one movement. When it is no longer needed, it can be stowed away in the integrated storage compartment. Magnetic holders for parking the belts ensure easy entry and exit.

Simple attachment in the car

If your child weighs 9 kg to max. 22 kg from 15 months to 4 years (76 cm - 105 cm), you can easily install the i-Bold using the Isofix connectors and the top tether. From 15 kg to 36 kg from 3.5 years to 12 years (100 cm -150 cm), installation is carried out with the vehicle belt and optionally also with the Isofix connectors. The color-coded belt guide makes buckling up intuitive and safe.

Practical for small stains: The covers of the i-Bold R129 i-Size can be removed and washed in the washing machine.
