Cooling care for gentle healing
Lansinoh® C-section hydrogel pads are specially designed to help mothers protect and soothe their healing C-section scar after discharge from hospital. They can be used from 10 days after birth or after stitches or staples have been removed if the wound is closed but still itches, hurts or feels uncomfortable.
Unlike many other c-section products on the market that are made of silicone, our hydrogel pads provide instant, cooling relief for itchy, healing skin. Thanks to their unique polymeric structure, they ensure that moisture levels are balanced and provide an extra cooling effect, especially when chilled in the fridge before use.
The transparent pads can remain on the scar for up to 72 hours and allow continuous monitoring. They are self-adhesive and water-resistant, which means they can be used in the shower, while sweating and during everyday activities such as postnatal exercise. They contain no latex or fragrance and can be used for as long as the user deems necessary.

Warning: Use only as directed. Keep out of reach of children. Suitable for external use only from 10 days after caesarean section birth or when stitches or staples have been removed or dissolved. Do not use the pads if an infection is present or suspected and consult a doctor. Discontinue use of the pads in case of hypersensitivity or skin irritation and consult a doctor. Wear hydrogel pads for a maximum of 72 hours. For single use only. Use of hydrogel pads may, in rare cases, cause pain, skin reactions, infections, foul odour, oedema, ulcers, allergic reactions or skin damage.
Serious incidents occurring in connection with the use of this product should be reported to the manufacturer and the competent local authority.
