With the FamilyFix base for the Maxi-Cosi Cabriofix (0+), Pebble (0+) and Pearl (I), your baby seat or car seat can be fixed safely, easily and quickly in your car. The base remains in the car, while the seat can be removed in a few easy steps and reattached later. Especially handy at Family Fix: You only need a single Isofix base for two consecutive age groups (Group 0+ and I).
The Isofix base is attached to the Isofix attachment points of the vehicle seat using two locking arms. A height-adjustable support leg provides extra safety: the baby seat cannot tip forward during braking.
When attaching the car seat, you can see at a glance whether the base, seat and support leg are correctly installed with the aid of a electronic display system . If the installation is incorrect, an acoustic warning signal sounds and the display lights up red.
Your treasure will be happy about the special adjustment possibility of the base: the inclination of the baby seat or the car seat can be adjusted with one hand. So your child can rest comfortably on the go.
Please note: Baby seats (0+) are fitted in the opposite direction to the direction of travel in order to protect the delicate spine of your newborn during braking. The Maxi-Cosi Pearl (size I) is then installed in the direction of travel.
