Comfort and safety

Reverse driving is safer for babies and toddlers because their heads are much heavier than their bodies and their neck muscles are not yet fully developed. In the event of a head-on accident, their sensitive head and neck area is exposed to great stress. By contrast, in rear-facing driving, the impact energy is distributed evenly across the child's seat and back. In the Maxi-Cosi MiloFix, your child can even drive against the direction of travel until about 18 months! From a body weight of 13 kg, the seat should then be used in the direction of travel. Changing the direction of travel is very easy: simply turn the base - done!

With many adjustment options

For newborn babies, the child seat is placed in the resting position and the included seat reducer is inserted to ensure an optimal and safe lying position. As your child grows; the seat reducer can be easily removed. The headrest and harness system grow with your child and can be adjusted in height at the same time. Climbing in and buckling up is a breeze thanks to integrated harness holders: they hold the shoulder straps to the side, so they're not in the way when you lift your child into the car seat. Whether wide awake or dog-tired: if your child is sitting in the direction of travel, the MiloFix can be locked upright or in the rest position.

Fastening

The Maxi-Cosi MiloFix is attached to the Isofix anchors of the rear seat with the help of its integrated locking arms. An additional upper strap (top tether) connects the child seat to the top tether hooks behind the rear seat. This provides greater stability and safety in the event of an accident with 3 anchorage points.
