General safety instructions
• Read the user manual before using the device! It contains important information on commissioning and handling the device.
• Keep the user manual carefully for future reference. It must be handed over to third parties if the device is passed on.
• Use the device exclusively for private and intended purposes. This device is not intended for commercial use.
• This device is only intended for indoor use. Do not use outdoors.
• Persons (including children) who are physically, sensorially or mentally impaired or inexperienced or lack knowledge and are therefore unable to use the device safely should not use the device without supervision or instruction by a responsible person.
• Do not use the device within reach of children.
• Repairs may only be carried out by customer service or authorised dealers. You must never open or repair the device yourself, as proper functioning can no longer be guaranteed. Failure to comply will void the warranty. If you have any questions regarding the use of our devices, please contact your dealer.
• The power cord of this device cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged, the device must be scrapped.
• Children must not play with the device. The device and its power cord must be kept away from children under 3 years.

• Remove all packaging materials and unused parts before first use to prevent your child from injury or swallowing.
• Check the device for obvious damage before each use. If you detect any damage, the device must not be used.
• Especially when travelling abroad, check whether the local mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the devices or power supplies.
• When the device is not in use, always unplug it to prevent it from being switched on unintentionally.
• Secure the power cable and ensure it is not accidentally pulled, causing the device to fall to the floor. Do not allow the power cable to come into contact with hot surfaces.
• Always use the device on a flat, heat-resistant surface.
• Cleaning and maintenance by the user must not be performed by children unless they are 8 years or older and supervised.
• Clean the basket and tongs before first use and run the disinfection cycle once without parts to be disinfected.
• Do not immerse the device, power cable or plug in water or other liquids.
