Mattress core

The core of the Schlummerstern baby mattress consists of high-quality cold foam and particularly flexible, free-standing 3D comfort pads. This creates a particularly point-elastic behavior, pressure is taken off baby's spine and yet an optimally supported lying position is ensured so that your child's back can develop healthily.

The special air-permeable ventilation fabric on the sides and the three-dimensional Comfort Pads ensure ideal ventilation and elasticity - This creates a completely new lying comfort for your baby. The air can circulate, there is no dangerous build-up of heat and exhaled CO2 is prevented from being re-inhaled. If your baby likes to sleep on his stomach, there is a risk that he will lie with his mouth and nose on the mattress and will have a hard time getting air. In this case, mattresses with ventilation system and air-permeable materials are especially important. The cellulose fiber Tencel combines the best properties and is therefore fine like silk, easy to clean like acrylic, pleasantly cool like linen and warming like wool. With sleep safety, moisture protection is already integrated, so moisture is transported to the surface and does not penetrate the mattress core. In addition, the cover is refined with soothing lavender and lemon balm oil. The 100% natural oils have a relaxing and sleep-promoting effect, and also inhibit bacteria and fungal growth. The cover is divisible, washable at 60 °C and suitable for tumble drying.
