What's new about the Salsa 5 Air in the 2025 collection?

The Salsa 5 Air now boasts many new, practical features. With the innovative Quick-Fold folding mechanism, you can now fold the carrycot even faster from the outside using sliders on the base and stow it away to save space. The sun canopy can also be easily adjusted thanks to the new memory function: You release the canopy holders one by one and adjust it effortlessly. The Salsa 5 Air now offers a brand new extra-large sun canopy with UPF 50+ fold-out sun visor that can be pulled down further than ever before - perfect for generous shade, e.g. on the beach, or as a practical canopy for sleeping. Thanks to the new innovative HappyBelt® 5-point harness system with magnetic buckle in the sports seat, which can be infinitely adjusted and offers padded shoulder straps for more comfort, getting in and out of the seat is also much easier.Additional comfort is provided by the new soft, breathable comfort seat insert, while the ventilation window made of fine mesh fabric integrated into the backrest ensures optimum air circulation and a pleasant seat climate. The newly designed safety bar with two attachment points offers space for accessories such as cup holders or lights, which can be attached securely and used flexibly with just one click.

Cuddly carrycot for newborns

The carrycot is equipped with the particularly high-quality, soft and ergonomic CozyCloud mattress and provides a very comfortable bed for your newborn baby. The adjustable lying surface offers extra comfort, which you can fold up at the back of the carrycot. The new organizer is stored in the front section. This offers space for your cell phone, wallet and much more. You can also remove the small bag and attach it to the push bar.

The new CozyCloud mattress has been specially developed for use in the carrycot for newborns. So you can be sure that your baby will have a healthy and restful sleep. The mattress ensures an excellent sleeping climate. It has breathable cold foam with vertical air channels. The adjusted firmness level ensures optimum lying comfort from head to spine. The wedge-shaped head end raises the head slightly and thus supports a healthy sleeping position. All materials are allergy-friendly and are subject to the strictest quality controls.

Your baby is protected by the matching carrycot cover and a large canopy. The canopy is equipped with UV protection 50+. For warm days, there is an integrated ventilation window (made of particularly fine mesh) on the canopy and one at the head end of the carrycot. This means that the carrycot is always pleasantly ventilated and heat build-up is avoided.

If the carrycot is too bulky for your next restaurant visit, simply remove the carrycot and carry it by hand using the sturdy carrying handle. The practical memory function is particularly convenient and even safer: you can unlock the holders one after the other so that you always have one hand free to hold the carrying handle. If you have little space for transportation in the car, you can simply fold the carrycot.

Moving on in the pushchair

As soon as your child can sit, you can attach the carrycot. This is quick and easy. Just like the carrycot, the seat can be attached in both directions. This means you can keep a close eye on your little one and they can look into your familiar face. Curious explorers face forward and explore the world. This makes them tired, which is why the backrest and footrest are multi-adjustable. A well-earned nap can be taken in a flat reclining position.

A padded 5-point harness and a safety bar ensure safety. The magnetic HappyBelt® 5-point harness system holds your child securely in place and grows with them. As your child grows, you can simply adjust the harness continuously. Practical: For easy access, you can simply unfold the harness or remove it completely. The large canopy with fold-out sun visor protects against wind and weather. With UV protection 50+, it reliably protects your child's sensitive skin. Thanks to the mesh viewing and ventilation window, you can keep an eye on your child at all times.

The Salsa 5 Air also has a few highlights for parents: The push bar is height-adjustable and allows mom and dad to take strolls in a comfortable posture. The Salsa is also suitable for very tall parents, as it offers plenty of legroom between the rear wheels. The super spacious shopping basket makes everyday life even easier. You can store bulky and heavy items here, saving you energy and nerves.

Great ride comfort & small folding size

The Salsa 5 Air rides on large pneumatic wheels. Thanks to the high-quality tires, you can get along perfectly with the stroller on any surface. On particularly uneven terrain, you can lock the front wheel so that it doesn't block and you can make rapid progress. In addition to the soft pneumatic tires, the central suspension also absorbs small and large bumps. After the tour, you can fold up the stroller quickly and easily. You can also remove the wheels for a particularly small folding size. This is super easy at the touch of a button. So you can fit the Salsa into any car trunk.

Pebble Pro² infant car seat already included in the scope of delivery

With the Maxi-Cosi infant car seat Pebble 360 Pro², which is included in the travel set, you are always perfectly equipped - for short journeys or longer trips. This high-quality infant car seat offers your baby a safe and comfortable environment right from birth. Thanks to the three selectable recline positions, including a fully flat recline position, your child can enjoy maximum sleeping comfort - whether during a car journey or a walk with the baby carriage. The simple attachment with the 3-point harness or optionally with the separately available Family Fix 360 Pro Isofix base makes it particularly practical to use. The innovative swivel and slide function of the base makes it much easier to put your baby in and take them out.
